All badminton players in Pune District are invited to participate in Pune District Badminton Championships 2022. The performance of players in this tournament shall be considered in the selection of Pune District Teams for various Championships conducted by Maharashtra Badminton Association in the current year.

Player Eligibility: Participating player should be a resident of Pune District, at least for one month preceding the start of the tournament, and should not be a registered member of any other district badminton association other than PDMBA. The player shall submit valid proof of his residence, if demanded by the Referee.

COVID Norms : All players have to wear mask while entering the the stadium . Vaccination of both doses is mandatory for all players . A certificate downloaded from COWIN site shall be produced by the player at the time of reporting for the first time . The player shall wear the mask while entering on the court for the match & also while leaving the court after the match .

Rules & Regulations Details:
A veteran player competing in events 35 years and above can compete in not more than one singles, one doubles and one mixed doubles event in any eligible age group. e.g. a male player eligible in 45+ age category, enters in 45+ men’s singles, then he will not play in Men’s Singles event in any other age group
In absence of minimum 8 valid entries in an event, that age group entries will be clubbed in an immediate lower age group to conduct an event.
